An independent database of real-world plug-in solar production: actual kilowatt-hours per system, by zip code, reported by real owners. Not estimates, not marketing.
Plug-in solar is going mainstream in the US, state by state. What nobody has is the obvious dataset: what these systems actually produce, on real balconies and patios, in real weather. Vendors publish best-case numbers. Germany, with over a million registered systems, never built a central production database. We are building it here, from day one.
California's SB 868, the Plug and Play Solar Act, makes plug-in solar legal on January 1, 2027, up to 1,200 W per home through a standard outlet. Our California site is already live, with the countdown, a plain-English explainer of the law, and the first signup list.
